Industrial Solution Grants for Young Scientists

PSF invites research proposals on industrial problems with engagement of MS/MPhil & PhD students. Proposals must be prepared in collaboration with a relevant industrial partner focusing on industrial needs and indigenous solutions.

Focus Areas

Climate Change Food Security Artificial Intelligence Pharmaceuticals Agriculture-Based Industries Renewable Energy Chemicals/Chemistry Engineering Emerging Technologies

Funding up to PKR 3 Million per project (max 2 years)

Enrolled MS/MPhil or PhD students mandatory as Co-PI from industry

Industry share in cash preferred; commitment must be ensured

UAF Faculty: Submit proposals at ORIC on or before April 15, 2026 and present before IRAB on April 16, 2026.

ICGEB and COMSTECH offer one-year Research Grants dedicated to women investigators under the age of 45 in ICGEB-COMSTECH common Member States to conduct original research projects of national/regional relevance.

Eligibility

Women researchers under age 45

Must hold position at a University or Research Institute in an eligible Member State

Eligible Member States (includes Pakistan)

Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Tunisia, Turkiye, UAE

One-year grants supporting creation/upgrading of research facilities at beneficiary institutions

UAF Faculty: Submit proposals at ORIC on or before April 27, 2026 and present before IRAB on April 28, 2026.
